Does a dog jacket make sense?

Dog jackets are useful for certain breeds in certain situations.

Dogs with short fur or a small undercoat can get cold quickly in cold weather. Older dogs or dogs with health problems such as arthritis can also benefit from a dog jacket as it protects them from the cold and moisture. A dog jacket can also be useful for outdoor training, activities such as hiking or jogging, or when traveling to colder climates.

It is important to note that not all dogs need a jacket. Dogs with thick fur or a lot of undercoat can often stay outside for long periods in cold weather without any problems. Even in warm and mild weather, a dog jacket is usually not necessary.

Ultimately, whether a dog jacket is useful or not depends on many factors, such as the breed, age, health and environment of the dog. Unfortunately, a blanket statement is therefore not possible.
