To ensure that your loyal companion gets the most out of a dog jacket, it is important to take the right measurements. Simply follow the steps to ensure the jacket fits perfectly. A flexible tape measure is ideal for measuring the exact circumferences.

How do I measure correctly?
Back length:
- Start measuring at the base of the neck and guide the tape measure to the base of the tail.
- Make sure your dog is in a normal upright position.
Chest circumference:
- The chest girth is the circumference of the widest part of your dog's chest. Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of the chest, behind the front legs.
- Make sure the tape measure is flat and straight, but not pulled too tight.
Neck circumference:
- The neck girth is the circumference at the widest part of the neck. Place the measuring tape around your dog's neck, just above the shoulder blade.
- Make sure that the tape measure is not too tight, but also not too loose.
